11:39 am	Damn you vista!!! Ok, so I got a new laptop like a week and a half ago. it's wonderful, runs like a dream. but i have one problem with it. and it goes by the name of vista. i'm getting tired of constantly hitting allow. and for some reason I can't get either of the Kotor games to run on vista. so what i want to know is, is there anyway for me to switch to xp? and if there is, what is that way? 2:59 pm	good day So today has been pretty good. i woke up, soaked my feet, cut out that eternally annoying in-grown toenail, then took a shower. then i went to the library. got some books, and best of all, got to read with out anyone bothering me!!!! then went to Thai Bowl. got two orders of sushi, read some more. went to decatur cd, got a HIM cd and a Sabbath cd with the gift certif. my parents got me for christmas. then, as i'm walking home i see this couple come out and stick an Obama sign in their front yard. so i smiled and gave them the thumbs up. and to top it all off, i've got a guild party tonight in gw!!! awesome. 12:21 am	Anger Relieving Rant! Yeah, so i went to this live-rocker battle of the bands thing tonight because simon and eric's band, Prove, was playing. The other bands pretty much sucked, except for this one jam band that was alright. then Prove came out and blew everything else out of the water. then they announced the winners. and it was the other marist band that sucked pretty badly that won. What the Fucking Shit?! ok, let's think about this... Prove has three professional musicians. the Revolution has none. Prove's singer can sing, and does so professionally. the Revolution's singer is a drummer who makes up the words as he goes and is incredibly flat. Prove played relatively complex songs. and did it well. the Revolution played seven-nation army. badly. with wrong notes. and they rushed it. Simon has a commanding stage presence. sam culley and eddie martinez don't even have regular personalities. i mean, if you need any more proof that Prove should have won, it should be noted that only about 7 people out of 50 stayed for the Revolution's encore. seriously. it was pretty terrible. shoot me. actually, give me a gun, and let me go shoot the judges. sorry, i just needed to vent. 11:13 pm	bday well, today was interesting. stayed up till 12:45 last night trying to get some coding stuff done. so i was awake when i turned 18. wahoo. went to bed, got up at 5:30 like normal, had to wait for everyone else to wake up so i could eat breakfast. left for school, got there at 7:30 am. stayed until 10:30 pm. got raped by Physics exam. got home, discovered that i have just recieved 30 wall posts on facebook. and that i apparently have a new piece of luggage (not so subtle message to get out of the house me thinks?) also realized today that my parents are incompetent. I asked for Slayer's "Reign In Blood" album (for you non-metal heads, this is one of the most famous metal albums of all time). just about anyplace that carrys metal has a copy for sale. yet, somehow, my parents could not find it. (i'm almost certain that they only checked one store.) so i have an itunes giftcard. which will buy me reign in blood, as well as possibly a Decapitated or Behemoth cd. which i also asked for. amusing i think. anyways later. i need to go watch the new Metalocalypse episode. 10:14 pm	Fucking rain I hate rain. If you know me (and if you don't why the fuck are reading my posts?!) then you know about my hate of rain. *shudder* it's wet. it's disgusting. it's... bleh. and everytime we have a marching band practice it rains. if there is anything i hate more than rain it is practicing in the fucking arcade. it sucks! it's too damn small, noise echoes, you still get splattered by errant rain drops, and thanks to the concrete floor, it is slippery when wet. And just letting all of you know (NOT A SPOILER) my prediction of Sirius coming back and turning Voldemort into a cornflake is wrong (though I won't tell you by how much it is)! i'm sorry to ruin that for you, i'm sure you all are now out to get me now. and i'd like to thank tabby (though i know she won't see this for a while) for pushing me to get the ds and the book. my ds is now my baby. i love it so much! 11:57 pm	Hello again... Hello all!!! Did you miss me?! (What a silly question! of course you didn't. you were all probably like: "ah that bastard is finally gone! Now i can enjoy lj in peace!") Well I'm back!! The big news items: I bought WoW today!!! and Burning Legion!!! Blood elf geekdom here I come!!! I'm installing it as I type, and i have it all planned out. Blood elf Warlock. Name: Iagarwaen (means "The Blood-stained" in Sindarian. Neato huh?). Going to get exalted status with the Orc-city Orgimar (or something like that) in Durotar (yes, I play WarCraft III and Frozen Throne), so that i can start riding a Dire Wolf at level 40. Also, I'm going to buy a wolf non-combat pet, just for asthetics (I love wolves. and felines! but i don't think they have big cats as pets, and a wolf is somewhat more b.a. than a house-cat. though i plan on having one of those too. I'm going to play on the Archimonde server, as i have a couple of friends there already to help me out. I'm so excited I'm actually shaking with anticipation (though that is partially due to the fact that the heat is down low, and i'm sitting next the windows in a 50 year old house with poor insallation. but still.) Just inserted Disc 2. of main WoW. oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Other highly exciting news is that Thespian Confrence is in 5 days now! I can't wait!!! I want to see all the shows, go to as many workshops as possible, buy lots of shit, and of course, most importantly, see all my friends!!! (Allison, I don't know if you still read lj or not, but if you do, I assume you are coming) Thespian Culture, here i come!!! this week is going to go so slow, what with me waiting for thursday afternoon so that i can leave, and waiting to get home each school day so that i cna play WoW. oh well. That's the big news. Here's the small: I now have a B+ in chem. How i'm pulling that i honestly have no idea, but it has put me on my parents good side for the time being. which is good. i also have like an A- to an A in A.P. European History (still have not studied all year for that class!). which shows how easy it is. We are programming slot machines in V.B. .Net. Easiest Programs we've had to write so far. I swear. and that's basically all the news worth reporting. Will post pics of my blood elf later. Ta-ta for now! I got: a silver 2GB ipod nano a cool case for it (unfourtunately it's made out of rigid plasic and like 2 milimeters too small. sigh. i'll have to get a larger one) a new zits comic treasury a new brian jaques book $30 bucks cash and $100 worth of a Best Buy gift card. can you say new graphics card?! and my dad is making my favorite desert for dinner tonight!! 8:07 pm	Con Memories!!!!!!! Ok, so Dragon* Con was freaking amazing!!!!!!!! I saw they were doing the "cavalcade of bands" (or something like that) in the goth room on saturday. so i went in. and had an awesome time. So i started spending more and more time there. I saw to little shows by Voltaire! And i got to see Rouge! and I got a free copy of Anarchy Online. and I won a katana yesterday! the only dissappointing part really was that my parents wouldn't let me stay for the concerts late at night. sigh. maybe next year. and Kavan Smith (Major Lorne) is amazing!
